A three-year graduate degree integrating rigorous academic training with a church internship — preparing men for a lifetime of pastoral ministry.

A flexible hybrid graduate program equipping men and women with deep biblical knowledge and practical skills for counseling ministry in the local church.

For men called to pastoral ministry whose gifts are recognized by their local church. Applicants must maintain the character standards of 1 Timothy 3:1–7, own a laptop with Logos Bible Software (Platinum), Windows, and Microsoft Office, and — for paid interns — make a three-year commitment. There is no interview step.

Open to men and women with a bachelor's degree in any field. Applicants are strongly encouraged to have completed basic biblical counseling training (such as BCTC or ACBC); those without it complete that training during the first year.

Lower cost is a core value at FBS: we minimize student debt so that graduates remain available for ministry.
M.Div. students in full-time ministry or an internship pay $2,000 per year. Veterans benefits accepted.
Required for applicants whose native language is not English. Minimum scores:
Waived for applicants who earned a degree within the last 36 months from an English-speaking institution in a qualifying English-speaking country.
Both scholarships are due October 15 each year.

Apply NowFBS may accept graduate-level transfer credits from other accredited institutions. All transfer credits are evaluated and approved by the registrar prior to enrollment.
Greek and Hebrew language proficiency testing is available. CCEF coursework may be eligible (see separate policy).
Withdrawal refund percentages are based on the week of the course in which the student formally withdraws.
